You can explore places they once stood or visit the Missouri History Museum and learn all about their adventures. The museum is one of the many free attractions in the city. You could also head to the zoo, science center or art museum without emptying your pocket.
If you're interested in agriculture and spend hours at your greenhouse supplier discussing plants then there are few better places in the city for you than the Missouri Botanical Gardens. They are ranked as one of the world's leading public gardens and have breathtaking sights to see throughout the year. If the outdoors are your playground but you want something a little more active, head to Forest Park. And at the end of a great day you may want to enrich your mind or exercise your body, so you're going to want to relax to a nice meal and take in some of the nation's best entertainment. There are plenty of locations to fill this need in St. Louis. For food, media representatives even recognize the killer cuisine at Robust. It won the Restaurant of the Year award from St. Louis Magazine in 2008. Some of the other gems of the city are Revival, Mosaic and Sidney Street Cafe.
Now, for some indie rock or a night at the club. The area known as the Landing is your best chance for a good time, but in a close second is Union Station. Both have a large collection of music to suit any taste.
Lastly, before heading out the house, you need to check out what events and festivals are in town.
